7:30 AM - 4:30 PM	Vacation Camps, School Holidays, Parent Conferences & Staff Inservice Days 2025-2026 - February/March Camp   The St. Albans Recreation Department will be offering all day CAMP for  2025/2026 school holiday breaks, parent conference days, staff in-service days, and singular school holidays.Our programs are an active, full day (7:30am-4:30pm) and open to kids from Kindergarten to 6th Grade.  Programming will include LOTS of outside play time, time for arts/crafts projects, as well as time swimming at the Hard'ack pool!Because we will spend a majority of our time outdoors exploring and playing, it's important to be prepared for all weather (and temperature) conditions.  We will also be spending time each day at the Hard'ack pool so please be sure swimwear and towels are part of the daily packing list.-Hat-Gloves-Boots-Jacket -Rain gear-Swimsuit-Towel-LAYERS LAYERS LAYERSBe sure to pack a lunch, multiple snacks, and water to keep fueled and hydrated for the entire day.      Vacation Camp drop off and pick up is at the Greg Brown Lodge at Hard'ack.  *Drop Off-At or after 7:30am*Pick Up-At or before 4:30pm

WE ARE OFFERING TOTAL FLEXIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION AND WE HAVE LOWERED OUR DAILY RATE!!!! You’ll continue to register one month at a time, but now you can select any days throughout the month that work best for you! You’ll choose all your preferred dates in advance and be charged a set daily rate of $30 for St. Albans residents or $40 for non-residents. This is a SIGNIFICANT discount from last school year!Also new end time - pick up will be by 5:30pm.  There is no late pickup option.About Our Program!R.E.C. Days is our daily; Recreational-Educational-Creative program, taking place in the afternoon at Hard'ack. Participants meet at the Greg Brown Lodge after school for afternoons that are designed to be fun, active, and engaging for kids in Kindergarten through 6th Grade.Hard'ack is the perfect place for children to be able to do a variety of different activities. Kiddos can expect a mixture of outdoor play, games, sports, crafts, pool time and more! Outdoor play can include but is not limited to going for hikes and nature walks, playing games out on our soccer fields, or enjoying our super awesome new playground! Our program also includes indoor activities such as crafts, perler beads, friendship bracelet making, coloring, cards, and more! We are also fortunate to have access to the year-round Hard'ack Pool! Throughout the whole school year, there will be multiple days a week where registrants will be able to utilize our pool and go swimming after school! If there is one thing we can guarantee - it's that the fun never stops!! TRANSPORTATION TO HARD'ACK - If your child attends SATEC or SACS, they are able to ride the school bus right to Hard'ack after school. Our staff will be waiting for them and meet them daily as they get off the bus. However - families must confirm with their schools that they will be attending our program, to ensure your child takes the correct bus at the end of the day. 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM	Vacation Camps, School Holidays, Parent Conferences & Staff Inservice Days 2025-2026 - March 20th   The St. Albans Recreation Department will be offering all day CAMP for  2025/2026 school holiday breaks, parent conference days, staff in-service days, and singular school holidays.Our programs are an active, full day (7:30am-4:30pm) and open to kids from Kindergarten to 6th Grade.  Programming will include LOTS of outside play time, time for arts/crafts projects, as well as time swimming at the Hard'ack pool!Because we will spend a majority of our time outdoors exploring and playing, it's important to be prepared for all weather (and temperature) conditions.  We will also be spending time each day at the Hard'ack pool so please be sure swimwear and towels are part of the daily packing list.-Hat-Gloves-Boots-Jacket -Rain gear-Swimsuit-Towel-LAYERS LAYERS LAYERSBe sure to pack a lunch, multiple snacks, and water to keep fueled and hydrated for the entire day.      Vacation Camp drop off and pick up is at the Greg Brown Lodge at Hard'ack.  *Drop Off-At or after 7:30am*Pick Up-At or before 4:30pm

The meditative vibrations created by the sound bowls resonate deep within your body, compressing and relaxing our cells, literally massaging them.  This tremendously relaxing modality has been shown to: decrease stress and anxiety, decrease pain, increase immune production, increase mood, increase brain function and memory processing, improve sleep, increase self-esteem, and calm the body.  Sounds you hear, impact what’s happening inside your body. We all can find ourselves stuck in certain areas; sound bowl/sound bath meditations help to stimulate inner healing needed to move this energy.  Everyone responds differently to sound healing. In fact, each session may promote different results. The intention is to balance the body, the mind and the spirit. You may experience increased feelings of well being. I encourage you to drink plenty of water, ensure you are resting and to eat in a healthy manner after each session, as well as limiting caffeine and alcohol. Some people experience an increase in body temperature, slowed heart rate, warm, tingly sensations, or no sensation at all. Others may experience increased tiredness, get or release headaches, laughter, experience unexpected feelings or thoughts, visualizations of color, emotional release, or even a sensation of floating. These are all a normal reaction to sound healing.    Sound Bowls-Lodge-This session will take place in the Greg Brown Lodge at Hard'ack.  Yoga mats will be available to those that do not have one but bringing your own yoga or camping mat is encouraged.  Dress comfortably.Sound Bowls-Pool-This session will take place in the Hard'ack Pool.  Floating mattress mats will be available to those that do not have something to float on but bringing your own floating device is encouraged.  Dress in swimwear as we will be on the waters surface for the session. Both are normal. We find that energy medicine has a cumulative effect, so when you treat yourself to regular sessions, better health and well-being are natural outcomes. Kids will learn basic skills and develop hand–eye coordination and movement through fun games and simple drills designed to spark enthusiasm for the sport. Participants meet at the Greg Brown Lodge after school for afternoons that are designed to be fun, active, and engaging for kids in Kindergarten through 6th Grade.Hard'ack is the perfect place for children to be able to do a variety of different activities. Kiddos can expect a mixture of outdoor play, games, sports, crafts, pool time and more! Outdoor play can include but is not limited to going for hikes and nature walks, playing games out on our soccer fields, or enjoying our super awesome new playground! Our program also includes indoor activities such as crafts, perler beads, friendship bracelet making, coloring, cards, and more! We are also fortunate to have access to the year-round Hard'ack Pool! Throughout the whole school year, there will be multiple days a week where registrants will be able to utilize our pool and go swimming after school! If there is one thing we can guarantee - it's that the fun never stops!! TRANSPORTATION TO HARD'ACK - If your child attends SATEC or SACS, they are able to ride the school bus right to Hard'ack after school. Our staff will be waiting for them and meet them daily as they get off the bus. However - families must confirm with their schools that they will be attending our program, to ensure your child takes the correct bus at the end of the day. All children MUST be picked up by 5:30pm. Missed Days: If your child goes home sick from school or is going to miss a day that they are scheduled to be at Hard'ack you will need to call and let us know. There are NO refunds or credits for missed sessions! How Registration Works!R.E.C.
