Special Needs Programs & Activities


  • The Department of Recreation offers people with special requirements the opportunity to participate in all programs.
  • If you or your child has a specific requirement and you do not know whether your needs will be met in a particular program, please call us. We may be able to advise you on program selections.
  • We welcome your suggestions...they may lead to the creation of a totally new program.
  • In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), effective January 26, 1992; it is a policy of the City of St. Albans not to discriminate on the basis of ability in the provision of its benefits, services and activities.
  • Auxiliary aids and reasonable accommodations shall be made upon request to ensure that all the benefits, services and activities of the City of St. Albans are fully accessible to all individuals.
