REC Days 2025-2026 - November REC Days
NEW EXCITING UPDATES FOR AFTER SCHOOL 2025-2026! WE ARE OFFERING TOTAL FLEXIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION AND WE HAVE LOWERED OUR DAILY RATE!!!! You’ll continue to register one month at a time, but now you can select any days throughout the month that work best for you! You’ll choose all your preferred dates in advance and be charged a set daily rate of $30 for St. Albans residents or $40 for non-residents. This is a SIGNIFICANT discount from last school year!Also new end time - pick up will be by 5:30pm. There is no late pickup option.About Our Program!R.E.C. Days is our daily; Recreational-Educational-Creative program, taking place in the afternoon at Hard'ack. Participants meet at the Greg Brown Lodge after school for afternoons that are designed to be fun, active, and engaging for kids in Kindergarten through 6th Grade.Hard'ack is the perfect place for children to be able to do a variety of different activities. Kiddos can expect a mixture of outdoor play, games, sports, crafts, pool time and more! Outdoor play can include but is not limited to going for hikes and nature walks, playing games out on our soccer fields, or enjoying our super awesome new playground! Our program also includes indoor activities such as crafts, perler beads, friendship bracelet making, coloring, cards, and more! We are also fortunate to have access to the year-round Hard'ack Pool! Throughout the whole school year, there will be multiple days a week where registrants will be able to utilize our pool and go swimming after school! If there is one thing we can guarantee - it's that the fun never stops!! TRANSPORTATION TO HARD'ACK - If your child attends SATEC or SACS, they are able to ride the school bus right to Hard'ack after school. Our staff will be waiting for them and meet them daily as they get off the bus. However - families must confirm with their schools that they will be attending our program, to ensure your child takes the correct bus at the end of the day.
If your child does NOT attend SATEC or SACS you will need to provide transportation to get to Hard'ack. While there are themes each month, they do not dictate all of our activities. We will still do plenty of free time, outside activities and swimming daily!!WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD BRING??- Clothes for the weather!! (you can always count on us playing outside if the weather allows, so please make sure your child is prepared with clothes for the weather conditions - rain jackets, snow gear, boots, etc.)- Snacks!! (We do NOT provide an after-school snack so please make sure your child has something they can eat once they get here after school!)- Water bottle - Swimsuit and towel (they always should be prepared to go to the pool)Pick-Up! Pick-up is anytime before 5:30pm at Hard'ack! All children MUST be picked up by 5:30pm. Missed Days: If your child goes home sick from school or is going to miss a day that they are scheduled to be at Hard'ack you will need to call and let us know. There are NO refunds or credits for missed sessions! How Registration Works!R.E.C. Days are broken down by month. At registration, you will have the option to choose which months you would like to register for, and also which days of the week. You can choose to enroll your child for 1 to 5 days per week—whatever fits your schedule best! During checkout, you’ll select the specific days you'd like for the upcoming month. This year, we’re offering a simple daily rate for after-school programming:

Sound Bowl Sessions - Sound Bowl Session - In Greg Brown Lodge
Everything has energy. We carry energy within us, from the moment we’re conceived. The meditative vibrations created by the sound bowls resonate deep within your body, compressing and relaxing our cells, literally massaging them. This tremendously relaxing modality has been shown to: decrease stress and anxiety, decrease pain, increase immune production, increase mood, increase brain function and memory processing, improve sleep, increase self-esteem, and calm the body. Sounds you hear, impact what’s happening inside your body. We all can find ourselves stuck in certain areas; sound bowl/sound bath meditations help to stimulate inner healing needed to move this energy. Everyone responds differently to sound healing. In fact, each session may promote different results. The intention is to balance the body, the mind and the spirit. You may experience increased feelings of well being. I encourage you to drink plenty of water, ensure you are resting and to eat in a healthy manner after each session, as well as limiting caffeine and alcohol. Some people experience an increase in body temperature, slowed heart rate, warm, tingly sensations, or no sensation at all. Others may experience increased tiredness, get or release headaches, laughter, experience unexpected feelings or thoughts, visualizations of color, emotional release, or even a sensation of floating. These are all a normal reaction to sound healing.
Sound Bowls-Lodge-This session will take place in the Greg Brown Lodge at Hard'ack. Yoga mats will be available to those that do not have one but bringing your own yoga or camping mat is encouraged. Dress comfortably.Sound Bowls-Pool-This session will take place in the Hard'ack Pool. Floating mattress mats will be available to those that do not have something to float on but bringing your own floating device is encouraged. Dress in swimwear as we will be on the waters surface for the session.

Hi! I’m Chantal Tatro, owner of Green Mountain Lotus. I utilize holistic healing modalities, such as sound healing and energy (Reiki) healing to promote an internal sense of alignment. I believe that by utilizing mindfulness strategies consistently and intentionally, we can make shifts that will lead to the life we want and deserve!Consult your health care provider to ensure this is a safe modality for you. Anyone who has had surgery that resulted in metal being placed anywhere in their body, should not participate. If you are pregnant, or have any underlying health issues, especially diabetes, heart disease, or are prescribed blood thinners, please consult your doctor prior to participating.INFORMED CONSENT FORM The United States of America currently has no licensing policy in regard to Sound or Energy Healing, and Chantal Tatro is not a licensed Medical Doctor. I do not deal with drugs, nor do I issue a diagnosis or suggest cures. My purpose is simply to provide a safe space for my client to experience healing through natural processes. I consider the use of sound, energy, herbs, essential oils, crystals and any other natural healing modality as a way to encourage the body to get back to optimal functioning and everyone reacts to these methods individually. I make no claims for their medicinal actions, nor do I cite scientific evidence. Any information offered is done so on the basis of personal experience and traditional uses. My clients agree to make their own choices as to what they do with the educational material they have been offered and are solely responsible for their own decisions and actions. The goal of my session will be identified as part of the initial process and that I will have input as well as give intent and permission for it.
These sessions are not meant to replace treatment by established medical practices, and can complement them.
There are no guarantees as to the results of treatment.

WHAT TO EXPECT In general, a typical session begins with a short assessment to discuss your concerns, thoughts or questions. During the session you can choose to sit or lay down. While we try to make you as comfortable as possible, if you have specific needs, please bring your own pillow or blanket, etc. We make every effort to assure that our clients feel safe and comfortable. We may work on your body or above your body, so please let us know if there are any areas that you do not want work done. If you do not wish to be touched, please let us know. Our work is intuitive so we feel the energy and work where the energy is stagnant, deficient, stuck or unbalanced. You may feel many different results such as heat or cold, shivers, nausea, headache, relaxation, release, relief, etc. You may also feel nothing at all. Any reactions can happen immediately or even months later. No reaction is positive or negative, it purely is. It may mean something to you right away or it could be a mystery for a while. Both are normal. We find that energy medicine has a cumulative effect, so when you treat yourself to regular sessions, better health and well-being are natural outcomes. At the end, we will check in about anything that came up for you during the session. I have read the above statements and I understand and agree with them. My purpose of seeking the advice of Chantal Tatro is done so for educational purposes only. I understand that Chantal Tatro does not diagnose illness, disease, or mental disorder. Nor do they prescribe medical treatment or pharmaceuticals.
