Youth Ski & Snowboard Lessons
(For ages 6 and up)
Ready to hit the hill? Our beginner ski and snowboard lessons help kids learn the basics, build confidence, and have fun in a supportive environment. During lessons, Hard’ack is closed to the public, providing participants with a dedicated space to learn and practice.
Important Information
- Beginners only: Lessons are designed for first-time skiers and snowboarders.
- Equipment: Participants must provide their own ski or snowboard equipment.
- Helmets required: All participants must wear a helmet.
- Tow rope tip: Older gloves or glove protectors are recommended to help protect hands while using the tow rope.
Meet the Instructors
Lessons are led by members of the BFA Snowboard Team and community volunteers who share their love of winter sports while helping young riders develop skills, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for time on the snow.
Cold Weather Policy
When temperatures are extremely low, lessons may be shortened to approximately 30 minutes. Our priority is to keep participants safe, comfortable, and having fun while they learn.
Weather & Schedule Updates
Lesson schedules are subject to change due to weather, hill conditions, or instructor schedules. We’ll communicate any changes as quickly as possible. Be sure to check your email for any updates as well as the Recreation and Hard'ack FB Pages.
Bundle up, get out there, and have fun! Learn the basics at Hard’ack and build the confidence to take your skiing or riding anywhere!
