Lace up your boots and join the fun! The St. Albans Recreation Department’s Adult Summer Soccer League is the perfect mix of friendly competition, good vibes, and community connection. Designed for adults who love the game and enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere, this league keeps things active without taking itself too seriously.
Weekly games focus on teamwork, movement, and enjoying time on the field with friends—old and new. While matches are organized and engaging, the emphasis is on sportsmanship, camaraderie, and having a great time playing soccer in a welcoming environment.
Whether you’re getting back into the game, playing just for fun, or looking to stay active during the summer, this league is for you.
Expect steady play, plenty of laughs, and a positive, social atmosphere each week as teams kick off the summer together.
GAME INFO
- Games will be played on Monday evenings. One game at 5:30pm and one at 6:30pm. A third 7:30pm game may be scheduled depending on number of teams.
- Games are played on a field size 65 yards by 40 yards and with 7x9 ft goals.
- Games will consist of (2) 25 minutes halves.
- Games will be 5 v 5 - with a minimum of 2 females on the field at all times.
- Registered teams should all wear a uniform color shirt/jersey for games.
- Shin guards are not required but highly recommended.

A point person for each team will need to register their team name and color. Payment must be made at the time of registration. Please contact Lee at the Recreation office (802-524-1559 OR l.barrett@stalbansvt.com) before registration to confirm your team color.
Teams are responsible for providing their own team shirt/Jersey. As long as the entire team has a shirt/jersey that is the same color-you're all set! No specific shirt/jersey needs to be purchased.
If you do not have a team but would like to participate, please sign up under "Single Registration - Need a Team." There is no fee for this. When we have enough single registrations to make a team, we will reach out to you to let you know. Payment will be made at that time.
