Are you a business or non-profit frantically juggling flaming torches while riding a unicycle? Are you stuck with soul-crushing tasks at home or the office? Or maybe you’re a curious human wondering if AI can help you write a polite note to your neighbor saying, “Your dog is cute, but I’m sick of poopies in my yard”? And AI isn’t just for boring to-dos—it can help plan trips, invent slogans, or finally draft that novel you've been daydreaming about since '95.
What’s GenAI? It’s a type of artificial intelligence that creates or refines content. It's a digital buddy for brainstorming, writing, researching, and getting stuff done--so you can focus on life’s real mysteries, like which Tupperware lids still have matching containers.
Who Should Attend:

  • No prior experience with AI is required! This class is perfect for anyone curious about the potential of AI to make work easier and more efficient.
  • Adults 18 and up.
What to Bring:
  • A Computer with internet access and Copilot and/or ChatGPT accessed in advance. The computer must be fully charged as power outlets may be limited. 
  • Prior Computer Knowledge. This course assumes you can navigate an internet browser, basic computer functions and whatever documents you may need to access (e.g., Word).
  • Curiosity! Think about projects or tasks you do for work or at home where you've thought, "I'd love an assistant to do this.". If you can't think of anything, don't worry - the instructor will have some exercises for practice.
 
  • Fee is per person

  • More detailed instructions for how to access ChatGPT and Copilot will be provided by the instructor via email a week before class (check your spam folder!); email address must be provided when you register.
