The St Albans Recreation Department has partnered with NHL STREET to provide some OFF ICE hockey fun in St Albans this summer season!
Games for this league will take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the Barlow Street Courts. The game schedule will be released after registration closes on June 1st 2025. Depending on registration numbers we will schedule 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U games.
No equipment is necessary but players can wear protective equipment if they would like (mouth guard, helmet, gloves)-all are recommended. Please make sure players are wearing proper footwear. Footwear should be closed toed.
-REGISTRATION PROCESS-
1-Friends form a team of between 10-13 players. Your team can have a mix of boys and girls but everyone should fit within one particular age category. 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U.
2-Teams will choose a Pro NHL team to be included and represented on their jersey. Jerseys are branded with actual teams. Team choices are listed below.
3-Teams will choose a coach (parent representative is fine).
4-One person from the team (parent representative) will contact Lee at the Recreation Department with team info (full roster, coach name, Pro NHL team preference). We will collect team info from now until May 19th 2025. Be sure you have a full OR nearly full team of 10-13 players before registration opens on May 19th.
5-Registration for individuals will open on May 19th (or earlier) once teams have been confirmed with the Recreation Department. Registration will ask for individual players shirt/jersey size as well as which team they'll be playing for-BE SURE YOU KNOW WHEN REGISTERING WHICH PRO TEAM YOU'LL BE PLAYING FOR.
