Join Pippa for a pop-up All Levels Yoga class, Thursday March 20th and Thursday April 3rd to awaken your body, mind, and spirit for Springtime!
As always, Pippa will offer her students various options throughout class so those who are ready can challenge their practice while those who need to can back off and modify.

Please bring a Yoga mat and any prop you find may be helpful (foam blocks, bolsters, and blanket for Savasana are helpful - Pippa will provide straps and will bring her extra blocks).

“All levels” means beginner-friendly and advanced practitioners welcome.

INSTRUCTOR BIO
Pippa Fourie has been teaching Yoga to all ages and levels of experience for two decades. She was certified to teach from Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in 2005 and opened a studio in 2016 that thrived until its closure in 2021 due to the pandemic.
In 2004 Pippa started off at Bates College to dip into the liberal arts but took some time off to due to the loss of family members and joined Kripalu in a work exchange program. This experience opened her to the world of Yoga for healing. After Kripalu she travelled around the world to teach and grow. While she ended up back at Bates College for a while longer, her interests brought her to pursue the School of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia and then ended up graduating with a B.Sc. in Wellness and Alternative Medicine from JSC in Vermont in 2011.

During the summer of 2016, six months after the birth of her first child, she opened Stepping Stone Yoga Studio in Jeffersonville and Pippa got to know the ins and outs of owning and managing a business while teaching there full time. She brought together a community within a larger community and at its peak, Stepping Stone had seven regular teachers, a full schedule, and many members. Though the pandemic of 2020 forced Stepping Stone to close, that was the time she had her second child as well, so she dove into being mother full time and continue her work as a birth Doula on the side. During these years, however, Pippa and her husband created a studio-without-walls (a 30-foot octagonal deck and 36’ pavilion canopy as an outdoor Yoga and event space at the same spot in Jeffersonville), called "Sacred in the Round" that was enjoyed by many from 2020-2023.

Currently, Pippa is a satellite Yoga teacher, Birth Doula, and Lunar wheel coach for women. For volunteer work she is on a track to become certified through the Safety Team to help empower other women through co-teaching their Level I workshops for Self-Defense. Pippa is considering a career of nursing and becoming a death doula as well.  She enjoys every class she gets to teach and looks forward to seeing you on the mat!
