FALL YOUTH SOCCER PROGRAM FOR KIDS IN 1st- 4th GRADE
PRACTICES START WEEK OF AUGUST 25th, 2025
STANDARDS OF PLAY FULL DOCUMENT LINK!
1st and 2nd grade Soccer (4v4)
4v4 Standards of play.
- Field Dimensions 90ft by 60 ft
- Size 3 Ball
- 4v4 with no goalies
- Shin Guards required
Games will be 4 ten minute quarters with 5 minute breaks between. The idea behind this is to get kids more touches on the ball. Smaller field, smaller pop-up style goals and no goalies keeps kids playing and reduces risk of injury.

3rd and 4th grade Soccer (7v7)
7v7 Standards of Play.
- Field Dimensions 180ft by 105 ft
- Size 4 ball
- 7v7 (6 field players with 1 keeper)
- Shin Guards are required
- Heading of the ball not allowed (If the ball is headed in game it is an in-direct free kick for the opposing team)
- Build out line is used to help promote playing the ball out of the back field in a less pressured setting. When the goalkeeper has the ball in his or her hands during play from the opponent, the opposing team must move beyond the build out line until the ball is put into play.
- Goalkeepers cannot punt or drop kick the ball. They must pass, throw or roll the ball into play.
- Games will be 2 x 25 minute halves with a 10 minute break between.
- Offside is not called in games but the idea can be taught in practices to prepare kids for the next level of soccer.
Choose whether you would like your child to practice on Monday & Wednesday OR Tuesday & Thursday or by registering for your choice below. We will be in touch with your specific practice time.
