INSTRUCTOR INFO
Aram Barsumian has been teaching choral music since 2013. Starting at Williamstown Elementary and Highschool before moving to St. Albans Town Educational Center. In that time he has taught music to students ranging from 3 years old to adults. In formal choirs ranging from 3rd grade through highschool. Since moving to St. Albans, he has had the pleasure of conducting the school choirs as well as the middle and high school musicals! Outside of teaching, you can see him play his trombone in the Champlain Philharmonic Orchestra, Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as Vermont's only German polka band, the Inseldudler. He very much looks forward to making some lovely music!
INSTRUCTOR INFO
Chris started playing piano at the age of 8, inspired by his mother and a 78rpm record (google it – it was a real thing!) featuring Van Cliburn and the Grieg piano concerto. There started a lifelong love affair with the piano and classical music. Chris is a past president of the St. Albans Society for the Performing Arts, co-director of the Grand Isle County Chorus and often can be found helping at the piano for local community or school musical theater productions and choral events. He has made his home in Fairfield, VT.
