Young children gathered around a table for arts and crafts
R.E.C. Days is our daily; Recreational-Educational-Creative program, taking place after school hours at Hard'ack. Participants meet at the Greg Brown Lodge after school for afternoons that are designed to be fun, active, and engaging for kids in Kindergarten through 6th Grade.

Currently, we have TWO different options for R.E.C. Days - "Wild Wednesdays" and "Floating Fridays!"

R.E.C. Days are broken into 3 BLOCKS! Some blocks have fewer sessions due to school vacations/in-services, so pricing is reflective of that. Each block requires a separate registration. See below to find out more about each of our options!

Block TWO begins the week of November 27th, 2023!
Block THREE begins the week of March 4th, 2024!!

Wild Wednesdays!! (1:30pm-6pm)
School's OUT early on Wednesdays and we are WILD about it! Our Wild Wednesday program offers an opportunity for registered students to enjoy their long afternoon out of school at Hard’ack! On Wednesdays we have a lot more time to do a variety of different activities and get to utilize the Hard’ack Pool. Kiddos can expect a mixture of outdoor play, games, sports, crafts, pool time and more at this program. On most every Wednesday we will spend at least an hour or two swimming in the Hard’ack Pool. So please don’t forget your swimsuits and towels! If you are looking for a place for your child to go when school gets out early… this is the place to go!!

PLEASE BRING!!
-Clothes for the weather (rain jackets, snow gear, boots, etc.)
-Snacks!! (We do NOT provide an after school snack so please make sure your child has something they can eat once they get here after school

After the kiddos get off the bus, they will eat a snack from their lunchbox and then we will get ready to head to the pool! Pickup will be down at the Hard’ack Pool or in the Greg Brown Lodge!
