Hard'ack Challenge 2024

The Hard'ack Challenge will take place on the Hard'ack XC ski trails and is open to people of all ages and abilities.  It is part of the New England Nordic Ski Association club Championship Series which attracts of the of the best ski racers in the region - but don't be intimidated!  Racers of all levels will be in attendance, including some who  just tour the course.  The 5K option will be mostly casual and entry level skiers if that's more your style.  We'll have a festive atmosphere and lots of great post race food!

Distance:  5K or 10K (distances are approximate, may be slightly more or less)
Start Time:  10K race starts at 10am, 5K Race starts at 11am.

Cost $18 for St. Albans Residents, $25 for all others.

Race Format:  This race sill be in the freestyle (skating) technique.  You can classic ski if you want, but there will be no classic tracks set on this course.  
Racers will start in a mass start, assuming snow conditions permit.  If snow is scarce, we may revert to a time trial type format.
