Youth Mountain Bike Clinic at Hard’ack- Led by Franklin Co. Mountain Biking Club

This coming Friday July 16 from 4:30-6:15pm Franklin County Mountain Biking Club (FCMTBC) will be hosting a Free boys and girls youth mountain biking clinic at Hard’ack for ages 8-18. Some 38 Mountain Bikes from Local Motion will be available free of charge, courtesy of the St. Albans City Rec department and LocalMotion for youth without their own mountain bike. Please bring your own helmets as they are required (we do have helmets available as well for people who do not have a helmet).

The clinic will focus on introductory skills, knowledge and safety with an emphasis on fun. All ability groups are welcome, we will be dividing up into three groups learning basics such as: braking, riding position- uphill/downhill, shifting, front wheel lift, tight turns and more. We will have a small obstacle course set up as well as appropriate trails for each group.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED.

Sign up below so that we know how many people to expect and how many bike are available. You are welcome to bring your own bike if you would like to.
