The 14th Annual St. Albans Winter Carnvial kicks off Saturday night February 19, 2022 with a beautiful winter display of Fireworks at Hard'ack Recreation Area in St. Albans and then a fantastic day Sunday, February 20, 2022 of outdoor fun with games, contests, races and all kinds of outdoor adventure for the whole family at Hard'ack Recreation Area.

Saturday, February 19th, 2022

1:00 pm - New England Club Series XC Race  REGISTER HERE
3:00-4:00pm - Snow Shoe Trek with Lille 
3:30-5:15pm -Ski/ Snowboard races 
- 2 courses for different abilities. Pick which one works best for your racer. Chips will record racers time each lap down the hill. Register below.
- Rope tow will be closed to people not racing during this time.

3:00-6:00pm - Bad Horsey - Live Outdoor Performance 
Cash Bar
Fireworks  at dusk to kick off the weekend. There will be a fire on the outdoor patio as well as a full snack bar with items for sale. 

Sunday, February 20th, 2022 – All Events take place at Hard’ack Recreation Area
11:00-12:00pm  - Snow Shoe Trek with Lille Bowler
11:00am - 2:00pm - Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides - No pre-register, however once on site the day of the event you can register for your sleigh ride and then go enjoy other activities while you're waiting.

11:00am-12:00pm - Winter Wilderness Walk with Jamie Tibbits
11:00am - noon Sugar on Snow.
Noon - 12:30 pm - Human dog sled races. Parents pull kids in sleds on a down and back course to see who is the fastest. 
11:00am-2pm - Family Activities and Kids Games! 
Tunnels, Snowman Toss, Snowy Obstacle Course, Visit from our Winter Carnival Bear, 
Scavenger Hunt - Find a list of items for your chance to win!
Outdoor kids play area with swings, slack line, and climbing features
Hot Cocoa and S'mores - Roast your own, don't burn 'em, unless you want to!
Chain Saw Art by John
Skiing, Snowboarding, Sledding & Snowshoeing (with snowshoes available for use in the Lodge)
Ice Sculpting Demonstration by Wicked Good Ice
Music and fun all day
12:30pm - Same day registration for Duct Tape Derby 
2:00 pm - Duct Tape Derby - Sponsored by New England Federal Credit Union! (Derby day Registration begins at 12:30pm). At 1:15pm all contestants will be asked to assemble with their vessels at the base of the hill to meet with the judges to get a close look at design and costuming. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER

Northwest Access TV will livestream the Duct Tape Derby for anyone who can't attend or family members watching from afar.  Watch from their facebook page: Northwest Access TV.  A live link will be posted just before the event starts.

Create a vessel out of duct tape and cardboard, bring it to Hard’ack and race it!  See complete rules and details below under forms.
