Old Snowshoe
Did you know St. Albans Recreation department has snowshoes available for rent? Due to the generous grant from the St. Albans Rotary Club the St. Albans Recreation Department is able to offer these snowshoes for you and your family to rent when they are not in service for our programming. We have children, women & men's sizes. There are great trails at Hard'ack, or you can go out on your own and make your own fun. 

Each rental period is flexible.  Renters usually pick up on a Friday and return on a Monday or Tuesday.

Please call to arrange pickup. 802-524-1559. Pickup at the Hard'ack Recreation Area.

Snowshoe rentals
  • To reserve and pick up, call the Recreation Office at 524-1500 x *266 or *268 Pick up is at The St. Albans Recreation Office at 39 Barlow St. 2nd floor.
  • When you call to reserve your shoes, you need to have a rough idea of the height of each person.
  • You can reserve over the phone, and pay on line if you like. Just let us know what works for you.
