Looking for a fun, active day for your kids when they're off from school? Send them to Vacation Day Camp! The St. Albans Recreation Department provides day camp options on school breaks and teacher in-services days. We provide fun for kids from Kindergarten all the way to 8th grade. They'll have a blast playing games, making new friends (and seeing old ones), making great arts/ crafts, hitting up the movies, going on field trips, and having great entertainment presentations. Dress for the weather because we'll be spending part of each day outdoors. Pack a good lunch and snacks to keep fueled up for all this fun.
Vacation Camp entrance is the back door - across from the basketball courts.
Each day includes a great mix of activity, both inside and out, down time, art, food creation and just plain fun! Keep in mind the schedule is tentative and subject to change depending on a variety of reasons including weather, transportation, and outdoor conditions. We look at the forecast and make the best use of the circumstances :)
Flexible scheduling!
You asked for it! Families can now choose which days they would like to sign up for Vacation Camp! Pick whichever days work with your schedule! Sign up for 1 day or the whole break. Feel free to reach out to us anytime. 802-524-1500 extension *268.
Are your kids sick?
In order to keep kids from passing sickness to others, we encourage parents to keep their kids home from camp when they are sick. If your kids are sick and they stay home we will credit your account for that day. Please let us know via phone or email and we will apply the credit to your account.
Vacation Day Camps
- Vacation Campers use the back door for entry - across from the basketball courts.
- Vacation Day Camps are Tree Nut Free. No Nut Products/food allowed.
- Each camper must pack a lunch, snacks & beverages.
- Bring boots, outdoor clothing, mittens, hats, rain/snow wear- Dress for the weather.
- Label all items with your camper's name.
