GET THE DIRT GARDENING TALKS! Our Gardening Series has information, techniques and ideas for beginning and established gardeners seeking to improve and enhance their backyard bounty. If you’re new to gardening, this series will take you from seed starting to harvest. If already a gardener, brush up on your gardening skills, get some fresh ideas and share your knowledge. Besides growing your own healthy food and saving money, gardening is great exercise, reduces stress, generates creativity, helps unplug from daily routines and teaches patience. Gardening is a great way to spend quality time with children and teach them the wonders of nature.

All workshops are presented by the University of Vermont Certified Extension Master Gardener and local landscaping business owner Kelly Wakefield. Talks occur different nights of the week from 6:30-7:30pm at Barlow St. Community Center – 2nd Floor.
